For a month, Nicolas and Claudia immerse themselves in the realities of an archipelago caught between exploitation and nature reserve, between the threatened habitats of the mangroves and the sparkling, intact coral reefs, between the painful memories of the American occupation and the freedom of a Japanese subculture far away from the rigid structures of the main islands.
