Rivers in Times of War and Peace is an immersive pop-up installation that explores the role of rivers and water resources as weapons, victims, and catalysts for mediation in times of war and peace. Focusing on the Oder River, which flows through Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic, and the Dnieper River — an important symbol of Ukrainian identity — this interdisciplinary art-science installation brings together freshwater ecology, sound art, visual art and contemporary history to examine the role of rivers in human conflict and cooperation.

Kozmic Sounds is a long term project investigating and archiving the changing sonic environments of the Opava region, the Czech Republic. Apart from the artistic work, an interdisciplinary working group is being established consisting of local experts from the fields of ecology, history, sociology and poetry.

FrauVonDa// begibt sich auf einen Road-Trip, zusammen mit unseren lieben Freunden und künstlerischen Mitstreitern Sabina Ulubeanu (Komponistin aus Rumänien) und Jürgen Hirsch (Filmemacher aus Berlin).
Das Vorhaben ist den letzten Urwäldern Europas, den in ihnen lebenden Menschen und allen dort ansässigen Lebensformen gewidmet. Unser musikalisches Roadmovie-Monodrama stellt in einer Mischung aus investigativer Kunst und sinnlicher Poesie die illegalen Abholzungen, deren Auswirkungen auf die Natur und die Bevölkerung in den Mittelpunkt, sowie die ungehörten, ungesehenen Schönheiten im Erdreich und der tief in der natürlichen Umgebung verankerten traditionellen Kultur in der Region Maramures und Bukowina im Norden Rumäniens.

The project is dedicated to Europe’s last primeval forests, the people who live in them and all the life forms that inhabit them. In a mixture of investigative art and sensual poetry, our musical road movie monodrama focuses on illegal logging, its effects on nature and the population, as well as the unheard, unseen beauties in the soil and the traditional culture deeply rooted in the natural environment in the Maramures and Bukovina region in northern Romania.

Im Gedenkmonat an das Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs entwirft FrauVonDa mit STILL : SILENCE eine Ode an die Demokratie. In der Erinnerung an den Widerstand der griechischen Frauen gegen die deutsche Besatzung und ihren visionären Einsatz für eine gerechtere, demokratische Gesellschaft, diskutiert FrauVonDa// die Frage, ob es ein grundlegendes, intrinsisches Potential des Menschen für Protest und den Kampf um Gleichberechtigung gibt.
In May 2025, the month commemorating the end of the Second World War, FrauVonDa// creates an ode to democracy with STILL::SILENCE.
At the centre of the installation concert is the moving and unacknowledged greek resistance of the female partisans against the German occupation, and the question of a universal human understanding of justice and democracy.

FrauVonDa// widmen sich auf Ishigaki zum einen den akustischen Umwelten der gesunden und sterbenden Korallenriffe – und zum anderen spüren sie den Weisheiten älterer Generationen nach, die einst im Einklang mit der Insel lebten.
